Work update…

Thankfully all’s well on the work front. My current work load is, quite frankly, fantastic – especially in the current climate.

[SinglePic not found]After spending almost 10 years working for a publishing company it feels great to be able to spend time on projects that require a much higher creative input. It’s also great to be working on different types of projects once again.

The last 4 weeks has brought a slew of interesting stuff my way including 4 more websites, couple of restaurant branding projects, 2 corporate identities and a brochure that will present everything from nightclubs and bars to engineering products. Back to my comfort zone, learning about different types of businesses and services and providing creative and accurate solutions!

Interestingly I found myself scratching my head as to how I was able to whip up several, pretty much fully worked up, concepts in Illustrator in such a short time. Either Adobe Illustrator has gotten easier or I haven’t realised myself keeping up with all it’s functionality. I have to say, if any fellow design hacks are reading, Illustrator CS4 is a truly amazing app. Not that I haven’t used Illy over the past few years, I have, but not nearly as much as i used to. Spent the last 10 years knee deep in QuakXpress and ankle deep in InDesign.

Once I get sign off on some of the recent stuff I’ll post images and add them to my portfolio. Once again, please feel free to ask me any Q’s……
