Well finally, after several months of deliberation I can finally post the final version of this logo for The Wright Venue. The brief was to design a brand for a leading purpose built nightclub venue in Dublin.
It was a rocky road as, to begin with, they didn’t have a name!! So, basically, the logo started off with an idea and one name and then traversed about 10 others. Each needed a specific design but the overall look was based on the idea of a tattoo.
As the logo is deployed it will be fun to see it shown in it’s various forms. From signage to merchandising. I have created the logo in various formats including animated flash and full 3d versions. I’ll post some of these results when I get time. I have completed most of the brand applications bar the merchandising. This should be fun as it will include Tee’s, caps, hoodies, and various other forms yet to be decided.
The client, The Wright Venue, is some place. A purpose built nigh club that spans three floors, several outdoor areas including a roof-top terrace and a bucket of bars. The brief for the brand also included about 60 images for key placement throughout the venue. I’ll post some of these after the opening as I’d rather not spoil the impact.
