I currently work as a freelance graphic designer, creative consultant and web designer/consultant in the Dublin area. I cherish every challenge and opportunity a new project or client gives me. I work on a very wide variety of projects ranging from corporate Identities, brochures, marketing material, display material and advertising graphics through to full web development and consultation. I have over 19 years experience in the industry and I feel perfectly at home swimming in Pantone inks or wrestling html and css.

I describe my function to clients as a ‘solutions provider’. My extensive knowledge helps to provide targeted, accurate and proven solutions to a wide variety of clients including The Wright Bar Group who recently launched the amazing Wright Venue nightclub in Airside.

My in-depth knowledge of all of the creative and production processes involved in getting an idea to print or the world wide web allows me to bring a substantial amount to the creative table. Whether that be streamlining a magazine production process or outlining IT requirements for a brand new web idea.

I started my career as a Graphic Designer in 1989. From there it has developed through a wide variety of Graphic Design, Publishing and Web Development roles. I have spent that last 9 years of my career at a senior position in a leading publishing company based in Dublin as Creative Director.

While in this role, I was responsible for all creative direction. When i joined – the company had a single magazine and on leaving there were over 20 paper based and web based products that I had responsibility for.

I engineered new, fast and effective ways to bring several of the companies products to the market.

One of my biggest contributions to the exceptional growth of this company was in migrating some of Ireland’s highest circulating magazine titles such as the Car Buyer’s Guide and InDublin to being some of the most used websites in the country. Two of the primary web products received several prestigious awards including 3 Golden Spider Awards. My role also included conceptualising new products both for web and print.
